Dr. Josiah Bartlett led a varied and exciting career, which started as a doctor. He went on to become a justice of the peace, a colonel in the militia, and a legislator. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and eventually was elected Governor of New Hampshire. This document features Dr. Thornton's portrait, his signature and a brief biography.
