Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address 1865
(Item #: 614) One of the shortest presidential inaugural addresses in American history, the re-elected Abraham Lincoln spoke at the Capitol and delivered it on March 4, 1865. In it, Lincoln shared his vision for lasting peace following the end of the Civil War. The speech is reproduced here on antiqued parchment and in Lincoln's handwriting.
