"Annabel Lee" was Edgar Allan Poe's last poem. Perhaps realizing he was close to death, the author made several handwritten, signed copies to distribute to friends and publishers, ensuring its place in literary history. Poe died 2 days before its publication. It is thought to have been inspired by his wife, who had died 2 years earlier. Here "Annabel Lee" is accurately reproduced in the author's meticulous handwriting on antiqued parchment. Includes Poe's portrait and signature.
